A summary of 2009.

Right, i haven't been blogging for a longgg time, and doing so at 5am on the last day of 2009 does not mean anything special. It's just that i can't sleep and i hope to summarize my 2009.
How should i put it....2009 saw me with a new love of my life. Although he & i bicker a lot, but at the end of the day, we still kiss and make up. It's like a love/hate relationship. Is this what it feels like to be in a relationship, huh girlfriends?
Let's move on, also in 2009, i travelled alot, mostly to Malaysia, as you know Chris's a Malaysian. My old passport was filled with lotsa stamps to & fro Malaysia. First was Genting, awesome one btw, followed by Desaru, then many JBs in between, another Desaru, Melacca then more JBs, the most recent one being with the girls. These short getaways help me take my mind off things sometimes.
School. Skipped A LOT of classes. Got barred from 1 stupid English paper, and was so stressed up on many projects! Ok, skip. Talking about school is boring me!
Work. 2 new jobs this year. After Charcoal, went job hunting with Shaza and i finally got one at Bakerzinn which pays peanuts! Bailed out on them and hopped over to Villabali, which i'm still at, will still be at till April when attachment commences. Villabali saw me making alot of friends, from different walks of life, different races and different countries. Although sometimes people there can get really fucked up, at the end of the day, it's still pretty enjoyable and it pays well :)
Lastly, at home. Lotsa shit had happened, but i'm so glad i'm starting to see the-almost-cleared-up-skies. Sold the house and am moving very very soon, in the beginning of 2010. Hopefully, new place, new start. Oh and did i mention, my parents are now baptised Christians. That has defintely gotta be a major change in their lives, from non-believers to baptised, i respect & love them more.
Alrighty, hope 2010 will be a better year (like uncle Tan, fortune-teller, said), see me getting richer i hope! HAHA!
My 21st bigday & Bangkok shall help kickstart my awesome new year!

Havent been feeling too well these few days but i'm getting better alrdy. I've starting working for awhile now, currently stationed at "deluxe by bakerzinn" at wisma. Some hectic day last sat. i didnt even have time to take a breather nor did i have time peep at my hp. And tmr, my shift's from 9.30am to 10.30pm, watch how i die.
For the past couple of days, i've been helping out at the Bartender Competition held at clark quay and goodwood park hotel respectively. Overall, it was an eye opener and a great experience for me and the other shatec girls.

We got to watch bartenders from the asia pacific region flair their bartending skills, especially this dude from Taiwan. During the semi-finals, he was dressed in a Bruce Lee costume, and at the finals, he was dressed in Michael Jackson, probably bcos his name was Jackson. lol his performance was extremely entertaining and flawless..will post his video here once i received it.
Right, enough said, update soon :)

Haven't been updating this space for a couple of months due to the 3 months training at "charcoal restaurant" that was constantly drawing my energy, leaving me tired and lifeless.
Ok, but i have to admit that there are people and things that i miss, especially sauyan & diani, big time :(
I shall not waste time uploading pictures as they are accessible thru facebook, i bet many has an a/c.
It's back to school for me, and i must say this term is going to be more stressful, cannot afford to miss anything, projects & more projects, assignments & more assignments. No time for play :( which i have no money for anyway.
Life's not like before anymore, and gradually, i realise that i'm drifting further and further away from the old me..

Stayed over at Fiona's place in JB, it's a rented place so there were no entertainment and heater, but nevertheless, it was still a blast with the right pple :) This time round, we had bak kut teh, bittergourd soup and dinner at this hip restaurant, chicken with jack daniel sauce. OMG, it was effing awesome! The restaurant's called TGI Friday, an american-themed restaurant, go check it out.

Mar 4th: Class themed party

Part of our f&b module involves holding a party, a party from scratch, the class had to do all the planning and fundraising events to come up with a party that'll be graded and that big day had finally arrived and the turnout was great, just a tiny bit of hiccups here and there but overall, great party and great efforts from everyone.

6th feb, little india
Had dinner with a few bffs at this indian restaurant along race course road called apollo banana leaf restaurant. other than prata, we seldom would eat indian food, and i must say it was delicious, i had a late lunch before i met them, but the sight and the aroma of the curry fish head and masala chicken ignited my appetite. I wanna go back again! Explored little india abit before heading home.7th feb, annie's house and hollandv
Sat's class was cancelled so we decided to push up the time to annie's house. Most of the mates were there by the time i reached. Her dad and bf barbequed a spread for us and we talked and laughed over dinner, followed by another round of blackjack. Thanks to annie's parents, who were being extremely generous and hospitable. After the party, caught up with the rest of the bffs for patyee & louis's 20th bday at bugis. It wasn't long after i reached that they decided to change the venue for coffee. Ed, sam and sherie drove so there were enough space for the entire gang except for mel. After coffee club, a couple of us hanged out at louis's place before reaching home at the break of dawn. Welcome to club 20, guys :D

14th feb, happy v day
The singles, sherie and dono had dinner at a turkish restaurant on arab st. Apart from all the smoke that's coming from outside where other patrons were shisha-ing and cramp, the restaurant was cosy, food was not too bad and its price was reasonable. 6 of us squeezed in sam's car after dinner, stopped by Jelita to buy drinks and dono's valentine gift for his girl before heading to louis's house where pateng caught up with us. Card games, drink, drank, not drunk then home sweet home.
15th feb, Johor bahru
Had an extremely short getaway to JB with kiat and shaza. Made our way thru the new malaysia custom and caught up with fiona before chris picked us up in his dad's car frm city square. You can say this is the first time i truly explored alittle of JB, thanks to fiona and chris who happens to be from JB. After hopping onto chris's car, we popped by fiona's lil bro's bday party for a bit before going back to city square for movie, house. It was a stupid demonic/haunted thriller movie, but for only RM10.00 in a cathay cineplex, it wasn't so bad an experience. While making our way out of the carpark back to chris's place, the stupid guard at the exit did not mention that the exit at the top of the slope was blocked by the parade (a parade like chingay, only that this parade's for the gods of different dialects) He blocked the exit after we stopped at the top, behind us was 3 other cars. In the end, kiat and fiona had to go down and asked the guards to open the gate for the cars to reverse back in and exit thru another exit. what dumbasses. The next morning, had breakfast and then slacked abit at his place, watched changeling on dvd, which btw i thought was an awesome movie, then out for some extremly delicious fried chicken and ice kachang. After lunch, chris was supposed to fetch his younger bro from tuition on the way home, he was so distracted by the conversation that he totally forgot about his bro and drove all the way to his house. Just before we reached his place, i asked "ay, why are we going back? no need to fetch ur brother?", and he went "arr!! yah shit! u all la, talk talk talk", it was hilarious man. Before we returned to SG, he brought us to his old neighbourhood and ate at this roadside stall that he claimed is popular. And home sweet home at 11pm. It was one hella short but enjoyable getaway i must say.

Dad borrowed a car for CNY and i got to drive most of the time :)

My house on CNY day 7.This adorable little terrier is called "Lunar", Fang found it on the first day of CNY and couldn't keep it, so i decided to bring it home. Kelyn gave it its name bcos it was found on Lunar New Year. I brought it to the vet and was told Lunar's an old dog already, probably bout 10yrs old? It might have ran away from its home, or was abandoned. We went back to where it was found, and no notices were spotted, no one was looking for it :((

Brownie have been very accomodating, sharing his bed and home, but Lunar havent been very nice towards Brownie :( I guess Lunar still need some time to get used to living with Brownie :)

Anyway, it's P to the A to the T (PatYee)'s birthday today! Happy Birthday babe, xoxo! Cant wait to see u on Sat :)
